Painting #400! Palms At The Waters Edge 8x10 Plein Air Oil On Linen

Found a great spot to paint in the shade of a big oak tree.  The view down to the waters edge was lined with one of my favorite subjects, fan palms.  Always working on less is more and loosening up with painting. I got there with the oak leaves above and a feeling of the Spanish moss blowing back and forth.  This is such a great spot to paint I have to go back with my big setup and a chair to paint larger and longer.  You could turn in every direction and find great views. I had lost count for a little while and was surprised to find out that this was painting number 400!
