Another pathside painting from my favorite botanical gardens. The mosquitos can get pretty bad this time of year but it is worth it for the incredible variety of plants you get to see. I bought a big fancy umbrella for painting out in the sun but end up using it here for keeping the passing showers off the painting gear. At these gardens right up against the mountains you get some regular misting coming down. All the moisture gets the ferns and mosses growing anywhere, up tree trunks and park benches etc. very cool prehistoric effect. You half expect to see giant six foot dragonflys swooping down out of the trees.
Hope you like it please leave a comment if you do.
